Selling my wedding dress, purchased in July 2014 and worn for my wedding in late October 2014 so still very current styling, just seems a shame to leave it hanging in the wardrobe.

The designer is Lillian West, Style 6308 (http:⁄⁄www.lillianwest.com⁄lillian_west⁄6308) and it’s part of her 2014 Collection. It is ivory in colour and is described as elegant. Featuring a v-neckline with lace cap sleeves (I had these modified because I preferred that look however they are only hand tacked under so can easy be unpicked to return it to its original look), It is chiffon layered with a chiffon beaded belt that accents your waist. It’s train is sweep length and the back of the dress is an elegant lace. The dress does up with a zip to the waist and then above that in the laced area is buttoned.

It is quite structured in the bodice (so there is no need for a bra in case you were wondering how that might work with the lace back). I found the length of that train wasn’t cumbersome and combined with a strap under the dress that allowed me to lift the train slightly off the floor when I moved around and danced, I found it very comfortable to wear for the whole evening.

It is a size 12 and the only modification to it was to tack the shoulders which could be untacked to return it to its original purchased size and style. I am 173cm tall and wearing my shoes which had a 6cm heel, I was lucky enough that length was perfect so this hasn’t been modified at all.

The dress was professionally dry cleaned in the weeks after the wedding and is just like new. Paid $1695 new, willing to sell for $700.
